I didn't know discombobulated was a real word.

My fridays are getting closer and closer together. I'm not really sure where the time is going but it's not cool. This week has been a mess considering I spent a few days with the stomach flu.

I got some cool projects in the works like a Gears of War III mural and Call of Duty zombies piece. Both of which are way overdue but we'll call it fashionably late.  OH SHIT MY NOODLES- ok we're cool. Just forgot about them on the stove.

I'm pretty close to finishing my web-based design/creative studio. More news on that throughout the week.

Also, if you get tired of waiting for a weekly post. Check out the tumblr.

    Doesn't feel like a Sunday

Seems like yesterday I just posted on here. . .nonetheless I started a new mural last week in the EARLY hours of the morning for an organization called restart. More information including a video will be available soon, hopefully by next week.

Im actually getting ready to leave here in a couple hours (10pm) to go downtown and finish it overnight.
Tweet me and keep me occupied (@xkendu)

    little sneak peak. Video soon

Other than that I've just been trying to get stuff together for a small release for 19/90 Never for winter and the rest of the gear for spring.

In other news I did get out a lot this week and got some interesting stuff:

     Yeah...i said the same thing.
    Hang on for dear life

"Put the pieces back together my way"

I don't know who I thought I was foolin' thinking today was going to be a good day to relax to get ready for another rollercoaster week. I've got a lot on my plate for this upcoming week and still some from last week. No clean plate club for me.

Gotta be up early so i'll keep it brief; I just got commissioned to do a couple murals for a program called ReStart, "An interfaith Ministry with Homeless Persons"  . . . .basically a place for at-risk kids-teenagers come and live as well as the homeless. I got a tour of the place last week and with the kind of treatment they provide for those living there, you wouldn't think that they were ever "at-risk" of anything. . . except a great time. Though the environment (i.e. walls and stuff) looked a little grim, which is why im assuming I got commissioned to do some murals.

Oh by the way I was in the hospital for 24 hours armed with only a blackberry and a Canon 40d and went adventuring into the depths of the institution. Inside and out. Check it out:

look how crazy good at photography i am

Look closely, is this one of those "stealth bombers?" I can honestly say it's the first time ive seen one of those

I've also re-done a small portion of my photography gallery so check it out!

Just seems like my days are getting longer, my alarm clock is getting shorter and my weeks are going more than coming. I'll save you the sob story and keep you posted on what I got going on this week via facebook, twitter or tumblr. (go ahead and cyber-stalk me, it's the new cool thing)

P.s the title comes from the song "Daylight" by Aesop. The perfect blend of lyricism and nostalgia. A couple plays and im good to go. Check it out (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dd_W_x3nclY)

    No Church in the Wild

This was a really dope project for me and for the first time in a long time i'm pretty proud of myself. I knew what I wanted to do, had the image in my head and with enough inspriation from the ablum and the particular song, was able to translate it straight onto canvas.

I appreciate everyones support throughout the process and who watched the video.

"First off, it's art, interpret it however you wish.

Jay and Yeezy are two of my favorite artists and there is a lot of symbolism in these pieces obviously and I really wanted to represent the album in a lot of ways with hard work, symbolism and overall cleanliness. I was immediately drawn to "No Church in the Wild" because of the beat, lyrics and how versatile and open the song was for interpretation.

Worked on these for a little over a month. I do have a center peiece with the chorus started but it's still being worked on. I definitely wanted to take this piece in a different direction than my other videos without losing focus on what the subject was.

    I took footage from:
    - JayZ and Kanye performance at SXSW 2011
    - Yeezy's "Diamonds are Forever"
    - Yeezy's "Runaway" full length film"

    Quickie in the living room

I've recently been re-evaluating a lot of stuff I have going on and prioritizing like a mad man. I've got a lot planned and a lot of wild stuff ahead of me for 2012.

I'll keep this brief, a week from tomorrow (September 12th, 2011) I'll have a new video featuring the 'Watch the Throne' 3 piece set I've been working on for the past month or so. So make sure you tune in on here, facebook, tumblr or twitter and make sure you watch it. It's definitley a different approach than another video I put on youtube just putting music and speeding it up 1000%.

In the meantime, check this next video out. I actually finished my living room a couple months back just never got the time to upload the video.
