    Imminent Destruction

    So yeah. Oh word? I don't even. . . .

Sup? So I did some stuff then blogged about it a week later. Don't care? Well whatever.

So For those of you that don't know (all of you) i'm working on a new website to debut in early august. I'm even making a facebook event about it (OH SNAP). That means its legit. Then i'll spam all my friends until they accept the invite, then i'll spam all of their inboxes with all of my sob stories then phase 1 of global domination is complete. Simple. Facebook event - https://www.facebook.com/events/174961612629085/ (I heard if you didn't RSVP, your living room floor will turn to lava. I don't make the rules)

With the debut of my new site, will be the premiere of a ton of new content. Design, a bit of photography, prints, and i'm particularly proud of some the videography I've been working on. The print store will also be available. So you can finally give me all of your money. I'm pretty excited about it too.

Watch with an open mind . . .

For those of you that don't know, I'm not trying to wake anyone up, or start a gathering of like-minds. Just share the thoughts of another about topics at hand. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time and it's finally coming together. I would eventually like to start an educated discussion but you and I both know how hard that is to do via internet. More information on the video available soon.

Spoiler alert: I'll be debuting a few videos/projects. One of them is SUPER depressing. I'm not sure why I do this to myself but the end results will go to a good cause. Stay tuned.

Repetition is the father of learning.

Here's some shiz from last weekend. Enjoy?

Action figure falls on the floor? "Don't touch it I have to blog it"
Necessary. I found these on the way out the store for $4.
Good ol Jacks. Cheap and dirty. Never does me wrong.
good lord. I eat enough junk food to kill a 12 year old. *lives*
I DO NOT co-sign these. They taste like butt. Unadulterated butt. That's the worse kind of butt :/

You can have whatever color you want as long as it's black

So I've been going to my grammy's every week or so so she can enlighten me with her wisdom but on a side note I went wondering into her basement and came across these really awesome picture frames she had no use for. So I promptly scooped them up and added them to my inventory. Just looking at these gave me a spree of ideas to paint but first I had to hunt down canvases to fit into the body on account I really didn't want to cut, build or stretch my own canvas with these frames already in not so good shape. They look great but still need a lot of work. I'm really excited to crank out this project....once I have a day off from work. I also painted the one on the right a pewter color. It was originally tan. Still needs some work but it's looking great nonetheless.

And rememer, you can have whatever color you want, as long as it's black.

On a side note, have you copped Frankies 'Channel Orange' or Aesop's 'Skelethon' albums? Also Kendrick came out with a new single titled, 'Swimming Pools (Drank)' and it's nothing short of great. I'm more than happy to wait years for someones work, especially when i'm nothing short of satisfied.  If you haven't heard any of these joints you really need to do some research and get on top of it. All of which are available on itunes. If you have heard them, what are your thoughts?
Before I jump into some more goodies, here's a funny picture of one of my dogs:
    excuse me?
click them shits. Anyway, for those of you that don't know, I operate a clothing company known as '19/90 Never,' a streewear brand based right here in Kansas City, Missouri. The summer '12 collection is up
and out so head over to the site, check out the lookbooik and get you some product.
Anyway stay tuned for some cool shiz. I'll have some new paintings done soon and some videos I was suppose to upload a long time ago.
Be safe this weekend. I've already died once on friday but luckily I had a phoenix down handy.

    Heat Wave

The weekend isn't over and it's been hell. I've been through a lot and the only answer anyone ever has is, "well that's life." These are the people that are unhappy. I can't say I wouldn't have done things differently if I knew the outcome but damn. I can't help but feel so far behind. If you care to read my sob story, read the crudely written, broken up story below.

So my car was towed on the tail end of my 4th of july night. I had to work in the morning, I couldn't sleep. I was freaking out. I call the recovery number at 4am and talked to some shmuck. (Long story short)

Me: You towed my car, that's fucked up, I was visiting a friend.
    Shmuck: $235
    Me: ...
    Shmuck: $235 and $30 a day everyday after 5pm.

I try my best to keep myself from raging; I stare at my computer, try to catch up on over-due projects. Projects for everyone else. Projects that don't pay. Projects that feel like a waste of time. It's over 90 degrees in my apartment and it isn't 8am yet.

Sun comes out, it's now 9am, I burn my 1 resource I had (didn't know it would be my one resource) to get a ride to the office to pay the fine and recover my car. The towing service wouldn't take my money order I had originally had for rent due on the 1st. They refer me to a gas station a couple blocks north. I visit gas station #1. They refer me to gas station #2 a couple blocks west. Gas station #2 refers me to a spot that's a block away from my house.....I proceed back (4miles) back home and on the way checking every business to cash a money order. No luck. I wind up in a couple bad areas of the city and as I'm walking I can feel eyeballs burning holes right through me. The area was surprisingly quiet and reaked of sulfur and smoke from the previous nights' festivities.

I try the sketchy spot by my house; it's an oversized room with an office in the corner. Couldn't help but notice the excessive negative space and the bullet proof glass dividing me and the woman who had her back to me talkig on the phone for 6minutes before turning around. I ask the sketchy woman in the sketchy spot by my house if she could help me out and cash my money order for $238 so I can recover my car for $235. She tells me she is going to take $30 out for service charge. I promptly left.

I went ahead and walked a few blocks back home. I can feel what I thought were vultures circling overhead. No vultures just the sun. I start to get dizzy. I sprint home. I arrive home and load up a bottled water and head back out for the door. My phone is dead so I leave it at home. On my way out the door and I remember my neighbor that lives underneath me has a bicycle. A bicycle he thinks is hidden on the side of the building. I knock on his door to ask to borrow it. No answer. Must be at work; I go downstairs towards the bike (very fluidly). "I'll return the bike as soon as I'm done," I tell myself. The bike has flat tires.

I start jogging. bottled water is already hot. Jogging downtown. About 5 miles away from my house. Normally a 6 min drive on the highway becomes a 45min walk/jog in the 105 degree heat. I walk all the way down independence blvd and turn down paseo. I saw a few characters on the way. I see a an older gentleman waking up the street I'm walking down. Appears to be well dressed in a dark plaid suit. We make eye contact. he looks away. I'm still staring. He looks up, I look away. We cross paths and I notice his suit is shredded at the pants and cuffs and his undershirt is severely stained. He continues walking past and I look back as he's walking away as I try to stamp a story to him.  I get to the bank and with no issues and deposit the money order in my bank then walk BACK towards the river market area to the recovery office (4mi).

I get there, pay my dues and go to work. Rip my pants on the way into work. I ended up being late by 4 hours.

Total distance traveled: Over 13 miles on foot.
    Total resources used: 1
Total 'friends' available to help: plenty
Total 'friends' that did help: 0
    Style points: 0

    Grand total: fucking loser.

It's getting harder and harder for me to decipher which is a life test/challenge and which situations are inevitable and fall into the, "that's life" category. It wasn't anyones' fault but my own, but I find myself in these situations more and more lately.

It's 12:40am and I have to be up in a couple hours for work. It's over 95degrees in my apartment, it's wayy to hot to sleep so I'll just stay up writing more sob stories.

    Watch and Learn

So this week has already been mega crazy. What happened you ask? Crazy shit.

I'm on my way home from the pool to find a couple fire trucks and multiple police cars on my street facing my apartment. I knew my neighbor was crazy and I figured it was related to him but my concern was my animals I had inside. Everything ended up being ok, except for my neighbor, his gas stove he pulled out of the wall, the matress he threw out onto the parking lot . . . .aaaand the excursion he f*cked up. I snapped a shot from my window I didn't want to be a dick and start taking pictures in the midst of the tension.

If you take a closer look you'll notice the vehicle is a bit cloudy in color, that's probably due to the fact that it was DOUSED with fire extinguish crap. So either the dude went crazy and sprayed it all over it, or banged it up so bad it caught on fire. Either way, it was a mess.
It's just one of those 'had to have been there' situations.
Anyway, I found a kitten in my apartment parking lot, she was incredibly malnourished and unbelievably small. She literally fit in palm of my hand. It's sad someone could put her out let a lone with an AWFUL haircut. So I took her in overnight with generous amounts of love, food, and purple drank water. All the shelters were in excess of kittens/cats and I was very close to having to keep her but luckily I found her a good home with no odds of her being put out again. So there's my good deed of the day decade.

    She fell asleep standing up
    That HAIRCUT
feel free to visit the contact page regarding leg modeling
In less depressing news, the paintings I featured in last week's video are now hanging up in a local restaurant (Affare - 1911 Main street, Kansas City MO). Gotta swing back through sometime this weekend and get some prices on those mugs, I'll also have a show a bit more downtown at the uptown theater in Kansas City, MO July 26th.

None of my stuff matches the contemporary style of the restaurant. I'm selling pieces though.

It's 2:41am and i'm tired as shit. I'm going to sleep. Why are you still reading this?

     . . .Sorry, I get cranky when i'm tired.

    Goodnight.

    Re-manufactured

Sup? I've been mad busy these last couple weeks with everything from getting these paintings done to working on the lookbook video for 19/90 Never. Both of which are producing tons of goodies for your eyeballs soon. I do have a new video out and it's definitely interesting to say the leats (If I do say so myself) feel free to check out the projects page for, 'the Alarm.' Originally a track by Big K.R.I.T. I just kind of documented my 4 day powerhouse spree in hipster fashion and took a different approach to the song and interpretation.

I actually just got tired of sitting around until I got inspired to paint, so I just sat down and attacked it. I had been sitting on a ton of artwork for a while that I wasn't particularly happy with so I painted over a lot of them. Simple as that. For more informaiton on the project feel free to head over to the projects page and make sure you cop the new video!
